What should I do with the shoes I no longer wear?

Whether it’s because they no longer fit, have gone bad, or we simply don’t like them as much. When shoes reach the end of life,
Through repair and reuse, the mall takes items handed in by people and gives them a new life.
It is in Sweden that we find ReTuna, a shopping mall that offers a new and sustainable shopping experience, combining several stores from second-hand products in one place. The offer is wide, from sporting goods, clothes and toys to computers and furniture.
Located in Eskilstuna, the space opened its doors in 2015 and has 14 stores selling second-hand, recycled, reinvented through upcycling or sustainably or organically produced products.
The mall is located next to the city’s recycling center (Returen), where people can drop off products they no longer want. These are then analyzed and distributed to the shopping center’s stores, where the retailers themselves repair, reuse, or simply sell the materials.
There is also a cafe with organic food and a conference room intended for climate meetings. In addition, the mall hosts a design school, in which students learn how to upcycling, and organizes events, workshops, repair workshops, lectures, and theme days, with the goal of being more than a marketplace and having an educational role in society.
She could have studied Meteorology and Oceanography but ended up going for Communication. And that's fine because if they don't get their weather predictions right, she wasn't the one who would change that. She started by looking for sustainable ideas and projects for her university, and since then, she has never stopped (who stops, really?). She loves to watch series, but she watches few because she is demanding. You don't need much to convince her to embrace new, "greener" habits and challenges.
