The new feature consists of information panels with news, local information, financial assistance, and actions recommended by the International Energy Agency (IEA) to help conserve energy, appearing alongside the remaining
results extracted from the web.
The feature is available in 29 countries and 22 languages across Europe on both desktop and mobile devices.
Just this year Google Maps started helping users save money and fuel with the option of green routes.
