When searching for “energy crisis in Europe” or “energy prices” you find
useful and reliable information at the top of the search.
We already know that in times of uncertainty, we run to Google to get help and information quickly. Now, in Portugal, in light of the energy landscape, the search for answers on how to save energy has registered a 40% growth compared to 2021 – and Google has decided to make it easier.
The new feature consists of information panels with news, local information, financial assistance, and actions recommended by the International Energy Agency (IEA) to help conserve energy, appearing alongside the remaining
results extracted from the web.
The feature is available in 29 countries and 22 languages across Europe on both desktop and mobile devices.
Just this year Google Maps started helping users save money and fuel with the option of green routes.
