The Apuro – Vegan Bar breaks with the idea that vegans only eat lettuce and drink fruit juices. This restaurant in Porto serves real vegan burgers sided by craft beers. The products are mostly local and seasonal.

A totally vegetarian restaurant, with several gluten-free options and a focus on Portuguese and organic products? Welcome to Botellini, a place that has brought a new way of living to Caldas da Rainha. Although it is a restaurant, the idea here is that people take home a different, healthier and more conscious way of living. To this end, they organize workshops and talks and provide merchandising with messages linked to veganism.
At the table, they combine more traditional dishes, such as “rice with no duck” or seitan “bitoque” (steak), with more international ones, such as tofu moqueca, curry or falafel with Moroccan couscous and, of course, a nice burger with vegan cheese and fries to go with it.
