At Kong you can find comfort food that proves that, with will and originality, flavors are not lost by swapping a traditional dish for a plant-based version.

There’s seitan bitoque and francesinha, hamburgers with fries and alheira croquettes and a list of desserts that will make your sugar levels rise just by reading about them.

Everything at Kong is vegan and they prioritize organic products. But there are more details that make it onto Peggada’s list of sustainable restaurants: they are true activists for the animal cause and the fight against climate change: the restaurant’s tables were made from wood and they don’t serve bottled water – even the carbonated water is filtered and served in glass bottles.

Zomato and Peggada have teamed up to launch a new Eco and Sustainable Collection.

Zomato is the most widely used restaurant discovery app in Portugal. The updated content includes restaurant menus, photos, addresses and other information, users can also rate and give feedback on the restaurants. In Portugal, it has more than 2.5 million visits per month, being the most complete restaurant discovery platform for those looking for options to eat out, take-away service, reservations and contactless solutions for restaurants. To provide an even more complete experience, the company recently launched the Delivery service in the new Zomato app.

This project actively contributes to the reduction of waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse. This SDG also aims to reduce global food waste in production and consumption.
