The use of handwork and the quality of the raw materials can make footwear expensive, but at ELCI they believe in an approach based on ethics and responsible action aimed at caring for and protecting people, while at the same time seeking fair prices for everyone and maintaining an unbreakable bond with local roots.
They still preserve various classic methods of construction (blake, hand-sewn glove) and techniques, making shoes of lasting quality that continue to represent the history and richness of the industrial and cultural heritage of Portuguese footwear.
They are made to measure. The possibility of having your own bespoke pair of shoes is more than shopping, it’s transforming your individual history and tastes into a unique creation. Every detail is carefully shaped to reflect the client’s wishes.
Reusing and recycling are part of their identity, and they look for quality and durable materials . ELCI shoes will provide comfort and, with proper care, will last for a considerable time. In any case, if you want to extend the life of your shoes, we can also carry out repairs.
