Dona Ajuda is a non-profit association that operates in three areas: social, environmental, and cultural.
In the social area we highlight the social store, located at Mercado do Rato, in Lisbon. There they receive all kinds of donations: clothes, books, shoes, games, decoration items, etc. After being properly sorted, they are put up for sale, at low prices, and all the profit from the sale goes to help those who need it most, by supporting institutions.
In the cultural area, they give the space to new artists, whether for exhibitions, concerts, reading clubs, or other cultural initiatives. They organize workshops, ateliers, and cultural visits, promoting access to culture at a low cost.
In the environmental area, they dynamize a set of initiatives that promote the reuse of products, the circular economy, and waste reduction.
