On one hand, a concept restaurant for an increasingly demanding public that our city has, with an attractive menu, its own atmosphere and style, in one of the most prestigious areas of Lisbon.
On the other, a smart social integration strategy with a team that gives work and training to people who live or have lived in chronic homelessness. But at the end and the beginning, it is a restaurant.
This may not be the most sustainable business in the world, if sustainability is only associated with composting, bulk, or reusable bags. But Peggada believes that sustainability is much more than this. That’s why our site includes businesses that may not have environmental sustainability at their core, but that make the world a better place in other ways.
This project supports actions that promote the reduction of inequalities, empowerment, and social, economic, and political inclusion of all, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, or economic or other status.
