With a privileged location on Porto’s riverfront and 15 minutes from the airport, the NEYA Porto Hotel was born from the recovery of part of the ruins of the Madre Deus de Monchique Convent and, after construction, it kept the original convent’s layout and the gardened cloisters, preserving the building’s history. It was built respecting the rules of sustainable architecture and privileges the use of national brands such as Amorim Revestimentos, Vista Alegre and Delta coffees.
This is an eco-hotel recommended by GreenStays, based on their sustainability criteria. Green Stays is a tour operator that organizes sustainable trips, with the guarantee of an experience that respects the environment, the culture, and the traditions of the local communities.
