Swimwear brand produced from materials removed from the oceans and other recycled and recyclable materials.
Undersea Wear upholds the epic mission to contribute to cleaning polluted oceans and reducing the negative impact of plastic on the environment by recycling waste and converting it into fun, high-quality swimwear.
All bikinis are made with 100% regenerated ECONYL® nylon from discarded fishing nets and other nylon waste from the ocean floor.
The boardshorts are made of REPREVE® , a polyester fiber made from 100% recycled plastic, most of which is derived from post-consumer plastic bottles. The plastic is recycled into performance fibers that, compared to virgin fiber, helps offset the use of petroleum, emitting fewer greenhouse gases, and saving water and energy in the process.
The brand’s packaging is made from sustainably sourced recycled materials and the labels are made from seed paper, which means you can plant them in your garden and watch them grow!
This project actively contributes to reduction of waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse. This SDG also aims to reduce global food waste in production and consumption.
