UGlowDifferent is a 100% Portuguese brand born out of a passion for creating unique and exclusive pieces tailored to our clients. It was created by the artisan Teresa Araújo and her boyfriend, Pedro Carvalho, and they design, create and manufacture all the pieces on their sewing machine.
A year after the creation of the brand, they extended their creativity to the reuse of advertising tarpaulins and other materials such as car hoods, seatbelts, car airbags, among other things, to create designer pieces, full of versatility, but always with the stamp of UGlowDifferent’s imagination, authenticity, creativity, functionality and perfectionism, keeping all pieces 100% handmade.
With this project, they intend to contribute to the recycling of products/parts/materials that would otherwise go to landfills and take decades to disappear.
They want to turn garbage into unique, durable pieces that can be worn on a daily basis and, of course, beautiful, keeping their production 100% handmade.
This project actively contributes to the reduction of waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse. This SDG also aims to reduce global food waste in production and consumption.
