Applications for the European Climate Pact Ambassadors are open until October 31st.
If you are passionate about climate action and want to inspire your community, join the European Climate Pact Ambassadors. Their role is to inform, inspire and support climate policy and action in their communities and networks, actively contributing to shaping a sustainable future.
To become a Pact Ambassador, you must meet certain requirements, such as being a resident of a European Union (EU) Member State, completing an e-learning integration course, participating in certain events and making a commitment to climate action, indicating at least three concrete actions that you will carry out throughout the year at a community level (in schools, community associations, youth associations, business networks or peer networks, for example) or through a communication activity on a local, national or international media channel.

As an Ambassador, you will be able to receive official recognition from the European Commission, have access to resources and tools on climate change and climate action, participate in Pact events and workshops across Europe, gain visibility for your climate action and advocacy on the Pact’s website and social media, and be part of a vibrant network of change agents.
Leaders of organizations or associations, community leaders, leaders of informal groups or movements, mayors, MPs, politicians or other public office holders, representatives of cultural, educational or research institutions, influencers and opinion leaders, and people with experience in activities related to social inclusion, poverty eradication and support for vulnerable groups can become Ambassadors.
Appointments are for an initial period of one year, with the opportunity to apply for renewal in each subsequent year. Applications are open until October 31 and can be made using this form.
