Twenty years ago, Gervásio took exactly one hour and twelve minutes to learn how to separate used packaging. We’ve had more time, but finally, just like this monkey used in the advertising of the Green Dot Society, we also already know so that the yogurt package goes to yellow, that the beer bottle goes into the green and yesterday’s newspaper ends up in the blue.
These are easy, and then you don’t get it right. But what about CD’s, cork stoppers or spartovite? yes, then the case gets complicated. Or not.
Quercus has launched an application that helps you know where to deposit every waste you have at home, telling you the closest place to do so. It is called Waste App is available for Android and iOS and the installation is free.
We did a test and left you a leaflet:
- Coffee capsules – almost all brands already collect the used capsules, but for unbranded capsules, can deposit in some Sweet Pingo.
- Medicines – should be delivered to the pharmacy (box, package leaflet, bottle, etc.)
- Cork stoppers – should be placed in warehouses installed in Continente Bom Dia stores
- Pizza boxes – blue ecodot, but only if they have no fat!
- Masks and protective gloves – should be placed in the ordinary garbage, a well-closed bag.
- CD and DVD – in the application appear the nearest places, such as Tratolixo in S. Domingos de Rana or Ambilital, in Alcácer do Sal. Chronopost’s pickup network also receives CD and DVD.
