It’s an area teeming with new things and Peggada has zoomed in on the map to bring you the most interesting things happening there and which businesses to keep an eye on.
Biofrade is a family-run company that started organic production in 1991. It sells organic products and already has three stores selling fruit and vegetables directly from the producer, wines and olive oils, jams, meat, charcuterie, baby food, cosmetics and cleaning products.
The Lourinhã store also offers a cafeteria with lunch and snack options.

Located in the historic center of Torres Vedras, the Escolhido a Dedo (Hand Picked) store sells items with minimal signs of use, new products from stores that are closing down and others that it has acquired specifically to complement its stock.
The offer includes electronics, books, clothing, footwear, accessories, childcare and decoration, all selected with the utmost rigor.

Be U – Ericeira is a 100% vegan and organic cafeteria, with a daily menu of the day (soup+dish), tempeh burger on bread and many sugar-free desserts that can be accompanied by tea, coffee, cappuccino, cereal-made coffee or juice of the day.
There are also some breakfast and snack options, such as oatmeal, toast, tofu sandwiches and miso soup, among others.
The menu is seasonal and the ingredients are mostly national and organic.

GIG – Green is Good is located in the heart of Ericeira’s old town, with the sound of the sea in the background.
It serves healthy and tasty food, with options ranging from snacks to a more composed lunch. Or, better still, and on days when you’re bringing company, the shared brunch, which is the best chance of sampling the best of what GIG has to offer.
With options for everyone, they reserve an important part of the menu for vegetarian dishes.
In addition to what they serve on the plate, they care about the impact of what happens in the kitchen. They work to minimize waste, compost and change the menu to follow the seasons.
