Have you ever thought that your glasses could be made from a skateboard? No? So here is a good opportunity to get to know the JG Designs project. Creativity, innovation, and reuse are the right words to describe the project of João Gama, a young Portuguese who discovered “the art of working wood and the magic of transforming this natural element into unique and particular objects of art. João’s glasses” are the result of a completely manual process, from design to cutting and finishing.

This project actively contributes to reduction of waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse. This SDG also aims to reduce global food waste in production and consumption.
