Catarina Soares opened Pureza because she missed her grandmother Pureza’s grocery store. This nostalgia, combined with the desire to present that part of the country with a return to the more traditional way of shopping, gave birth to a grocery store that combines bulk sales, sale of ecological products, and the freshest vegetables from local producers. From spices to pasta, hygiene or kitchen products, even bulk detergents or vegetarian products, Pureza has a little bit of everything for those who want to have healthier and more sustainable habits.
