Joplins was born with the desire of promoting a more ecologically sustainable lifestyle. They are a brand of eco-friendly sunglasses, namely wooden glasses, bamboo glasses, and bio-based acetate glasses.
They want to make an impact by switching from metal and plastic frames, which cause regular damage to the environment, to eco-friendly, sustainable, lightweight, durable, and biodegradable frames.
They have developed an exclusive brand of handmade sunglasses made from sustainable materials such as cotton fibers, recycled and reforested wood, wood pulp, and bamboo.
Their sunglasses are Fair Traded and are FSC, CE, and FDA Certified.
In addition to producing eco-friendly sunglasses, they also donate part of the revenue to environmental projects. For each order, they plant 3 trees and remove 1kg of plastic from the oceans.
