Flutua Swimwear is available online and physically through two physical stores of swimwear of Portuguese design and production, with a focus on ethical and sustainable production.
The pieces are made in the north of Portugal, in factories that operate in a fair and ethical way, promoting the social development of local communities, and ensuring solid and stable jobs.
Since 2014, the brand has mainly used fabrics from old collections, which have been abandoned from warehouse shelves. Most are made of ECONYL® – yarn (79% ECONYL and 21% Elastane) that results from recovered ocean waste.
The packaging is made entirely from recyclable or compostable materials.
