At Café Joyeux, no one is perfect, all employees are unique. This is a project that works every day to fulfill the dreams of dozens of young people with intellectual and developmental difficulties, giving them a stable and happy job and the opportunity to show their talent and skills.

The main ambition is to give visibility to the cognitive limitation and to enhance the social encounter by proposing work, in a common environment, to people far from a job. This joyeuse/happy house wants to build a sustainable model and make a difference a strength.

Café Joyeux maintains its culinary convictions: respect the seasons, find the best products, and favor short circuits! A positive and yummy menu, cooked and served with heart.

This may not be the most sustainable business in the world, if sustainability is only associated with composting, bulk, or reusable bags. But Peggada believes that sustainability is much more than this. That’s why our site includes businesses that may not have environmental sustainability at their core, but that make the world a better place in other ways.
