This is a special restaurant. Not just because it’s in the CCB, right next to the river. And it’s not just because they only work with seasonal and organic produce and offer dishes that everyone can enjoy at the table without restrictions.

It’s for all these reasons, but above all else, it’s for its social nature. Único trains and employs people with intellectual and developmental difficulties.

This project by Associação BIPP – Inclusão para a Deficiência, together with CCB and the Este Oeste restaurant, is one of three social businesses that are joined by a farm in Oeiras from where most of the restaurant’s vegetables come and a ceramics brand, which also serves as the basis for the meals served here.

All this takes place within Academia Semear, which you may know from the baskets of products you can now taste in Belém.

Dona Ajuda

Dona Ajuda is a non-profit association that operates in three areas: social, environmental, and cultural. In the social area we highlight the social store, located
