Casa Calmaria has three apartments located in the historic center of Beja which were born to combine the feeling of vacation with the warmth of being at home. The decoration is made with national products, many of them traditional and local, and the furniture is family owned. The use of materials is one of the points in favor of this accommodation that excels in sustainability. But there is more: they promote local commerce, avoid disposables, and have installed water and energy saving systems.
This project actively contributes to reduction of waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse. This SDG also aims to reduce global food waste in production and consumption.
