World temperatures reached the hottest levels ever measured on Monday, July 29, beating the record set just a day earlier.<\/p>\n

Provisional data published on Wednesday by the Copernicus Climate Change Monitoring Service<\/a>, which gathers data dating back to 1940, shows that the global surface air temperature reached 17.15 \u00b0C, compared to 17.09 \u00b0C on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The record prior to this week was set a year ago, on July 6th. Before that, the previous hottest day on record was in 2016. <\/p>\n

Since June 2023,<\/strong> every month has been classified as the hottest on the planet <\/strong>since records began. Experts believe that 2024 could overtake 2023 as the hottest year ever. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
