After the success of its last edition, with more than 20,000 visitors over two days, Cidade do Zero<\/a> is back. Taking place over the weekend of September 14 and 15 at the University of Lisbon’s Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA), the event will occupy the interior and exterior of the Exhibition Pavilion, taking advantage of the natural surroundings of the ISA’s 100 hectares.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

With the aim of passing on information about sustainability in a playful and captivating way, Cidade do Zero<\/a> is back and will once again bring together a market, workshops, lectures, debates, workshops and showcookings,<\/i>which approach this topic from its various aspects, with the participation of experts from numerous fields of science and professionals from several diverse areas. The event is free, designed for families and even pets are welcome.<\/p>\n

The event will take place on September 14 and 15 at the University of Lisbon’s Instituto Superior de Agronomia.<\/p>\n

The Cidade do Zero 2024 program is still being worked on, but promises more interactive moments for all ages. With regard to the various areas of the event, it’s worth remembering that last year’s market area included a consumer zone with more sustainable brands, a swap market (for books, plants and clothes), second-hand sales and various repair workshops (for shoes, clothes, small appliances and bicycles). More than 130 stalls were present, with brands from the areas of fashion (including clothing, footwear, accessories and swimwear); cosmetics; baby and children’s products; renewable energy solutions; furniture and decoration; garden; cleaning; and food and beverages.<\/p>\n

Participating in all Cidade do Zero activities is free<\/strong>, but registration is required. The full program of lectures, debates, workshops and showcookings<\/em> will be announced shortly on the event’s website<\/a>, where it is possible (and advisable) to register by leaving your e-mail address to receive all the information.<\/p>\n

Cidade do Zero is organized by Catarina Barreiros, a sustainability content creator and founder of the “Do Zero” project, and Jo\u00e3o Barreiros, a partner in “Do Zero” and in the organization of what is probably the most sustainable and inclusive “city” in the country.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
