Over four years and several continents, one camera (or several) followed the trail of garbage in cities, hillsides, mountains, and oceans. Following the process from collection, to transportation, and finally to waste disposal.<\/p>\n

This is the motto of the film “Lixo Fora do S\u00edtio” (“Matter out of Place”)<\/a> in which director Nikolaus Geyrhalter uses a fixed camera and lets the scenes play themselves out through long sequences in real time.<\/p>\n

This is a film released by Zero em Comportamento, which presents it in the municipal libraries of Marvila and Alc\u00e2ntara, and at the Cinema City Alvalade.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This is the Movie of the Month<\/a> chosen by the association, in an itinerant project that shows films on such different themes as politics, economy, human rights, education, architecture, arts, science, or ecology. <\/p>\n
