The objective of the São Brás do Regedouro – Village Tourism project is to provide an experience with unique moments to all visitors. In the
São Lourenço do Barrocal is a 780-hectare property in the stunning Alentejo region. Bordering the Alqueva reservoir, the property covers olive groves, vineyards, and meadows, as well as the remarkable rock formations that give it its name.
Within a Dark Sky reserve, it is one of the best places in the world to observe the stars and the sky at night. It is a remarkable place to embrace nature no matter the time of day, offering hiking trails, unconventional biking trails, over 100 species of birds to observe, and picturesque picnic spots.
This project actively contributes to reduction of waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse. This SDG also aims to reduce global food waste in production and consumption.
