Quinta das Águias began as a family project run by Ivone, Joep and Maria, who wanted to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle that was closer to nature. They quickly realized that what was growing there was too good to be left just to the family. They opened up to the public in order to pass on their sustainability values to others.
The area is a biodiversity sanctuary. They collect animals at risk so that they can live there happily and safely. In addition, they preserve old varieties of vegetables, promoting their use.
To visit Quinta das Águias, you can book a room and enjoy your stay, or take advantage of one of the open days to visit the space, the animals, enjoy a vegan meal and meet this very special family.
